Choosing the right dog treat
The best treat depends on what you're using it for. Smaller, easy-to-break treats can be useful for training and rewarding good behaviour, while longer-lasting chews can provide something more substantial for dogs that enjoy chewing.
When choosing a treat, consider your dog's size, age, chewing habits and dietary needs. If you're unsure which type of treat would suit your dog, we're always happy to help.
Dog treats for every occasion
Different treats work well for different situations. Training treats are often small and easy to reward with regularly, while natural treats and chews can be a good choice when you want to give your dog something more substantial.
We also stock a range of prepacked and veggie dog treats, giving you plenty of choice whether you're looking for an everyday reward, something for training or a longer-lasting chew.
How many treats should I give my dog?
Treats are best given as part of a balanced diet rather than replacing your dog's normal food. The amount your dog needs will depend on their size, age, activity level and the food they are already eating.
If you're giving treats regularly, keep portions sensible and take them into account alongside your dog's normal daily food. Always follow any feeding guidance provided on the product packaging.
